Kara graduated from Grand Valley State University in the winter of 2016 with a B.S. in Anthropology and a minor in Archaeology. Her previous experience includes two field seasons at Tell es-Safi/Gath in Israel and a field season at the Lechaion Harbor and Settlement Land Project in Corinth, Greece. Kara’s archaeological interests include the ancient Near East, zooarchaeology, household archaeology, isotopic analysis, and ritual practices. Her advisor is Dr. James Hardin.
