Alvey places second in SEAC Paper Prize

MSU alum and current director of the Office of Public Archaeology of the Cobb Institute, Jeffrey Alvey, won second place in the student paper competition at the Southeastern Archaeological Conference. Jeffrey's paper, "Exploring the Relationship between Maize Agriculture and Population Growth in the Central and Lower Mississippi Valley," was derived from his dissertation research at the University of Missouri.
